We staff our Mount Washington crews with people who've handled crawl-space colonization, attic condensation mold, and post-flood contamination — not just cosmetic bathroom mildew.
Licensed, insured, and background-checked before they ever knock on your door, our team treats your home like it's the one they'd want worked on.
Our approach starts with a moisture map of the whole affected area, because treating one wall while an adjacent cavity keeps feeding the problem just means a return visit six months later.
Our office staff handle scheduling and billing questions directly, so you're never stuck on hold with an answering service when you have a question about your job.
Here's what our technicians hear most often right before a homeowner finally picks up the phone.
A stale, damp smell that lingers even after cleaning usually means active growth somewhere behind drywall or under flooring. Candles and air fresheners might mask it for an afternoon, but the smell almost always returns by the next day.
Water stains on a ceiling or wall, even old ones, mean moisture got somewhere it shouldn't have, and mold often follows within 24 to 48 hours. We can check behind an old repair with a moisture meter in under an hour to put your mind at ease either way.
If symptoms clear up on vacation and come back the moment you're home in Mount Washington, your indoor air quality deserves a look. A pattern of symptoms tied to one specific room in the house is often the strongest clue of all.
Discoloration around an HVAC vent frequently means moisture is condensing inside the ductwork itself. Don't assume a small visible patch means a small problem — the portion behind the drywall is often much larger.
Every job starts with an inspection, not a guess, so the scope of work matches what's really growing behind your walls.
When a burst pipe or roof failure floods a Mount Washington property overnight, our on-call crew can be dispatched before the sun comes up. Extraction equipment and industrial dehumidifiers go in immediately to slow the moisture before it ever has a chance to seed a new colony.
Once remediation is complete, we run post-remediation verification testing so you have documentation the job actually worked. We'll also flag any structural repair the job needs and put you in touch with a trusted Mount Washington tradesperson if it's outside our scope.
We provide documentation packages commercial clients can hand directly to insurers or tenants. Multi-tenant properties in Mount Washington sometimes need coordinated notice to residents or staff, and our project leads handle that communication directly.
Lab results typically come back within a few business days, giving you documented proof of what was found. We use an independent third-party lab for analysis, which keeps our test results objective rather than tied to whoever's selling you the remediation.
Attic mold often traces back to poor roof ventilation or bathroom exhaust fans venting into the attic instead of outside. Encapsulation and sump correction can be bundled with the remediation itself so you're not paying for two separate visits.
Dehumidification recommendations and moisture monitoring can keep a treated space from becoming a repeat customer. Some Mount Washington, KY clients set up an annual moisture check with us, especially in older homes with a history of basement dampness.
No surprises, no vague timelines — here's exactly what happens once you call +1-844-578-1604.
Tell our dispatcher what you're seeing and smelling, and we'll get a technician on the calendar, often same-day for Mount Washington addresses. Have a rough sense of when the problem started if you can — it helps us plan the visit.
We walk the property with a moisture meter and, when needed, take air or surface samples for lab analysis. You'll get a plain-language explanation of what we found before any decisions get made.
Containment barriers go up first, then affected materials are removed, treated, and HEPA-vacuumed according to industry protocol. Daily progress updates are available if you're not on-site during the work.
You'll get a written report you can keep for your records or share with an insurer. Any lingering questions get answered on the spot before we pack up.
We quote a flat rate before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice waiting for you at the end.
We keep a dedicated crew covering Mount Washington, KY so response times don't balloon during peak humidity season.
We hand you lab results and a written scope of work, giving you something concrete beyond our word.
Our promise is simple: if the treated area shows regrowth tied to our workmanship within the warranty period, we return and correct it free of charge.
Plenty of companies will happily bill you for remediation on a repeat basis without ever mentioning the actual leak feeding the problem, and that's simply not how we operate in Mount Washington, KY.
Local reputation matters more to a small Mount Washington-area crew than a national franchise ever has to worry about, and that keeps us honest about scope, pricing, and timelines.
If regrowth tied to our workmanship shows up within the warranty window, we come back to your Mount Washington property and fix it at no additional cost.

Answers to what Mount Washington homeowners ask us most.
Most Mount Washington calls get a technician on-site the same day, and active emergencies are prioritized ahead of routine inspections. Weekend and holiday calls are still answered by our on-call dispatcher rather than routed to voicemail.
Yes — every job gets a flat-rate, itemized quote before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice at the end. If we discover additional damage once we open a wall, we'll stop and get your approval before doing any extra work or adding any cost.
Our on-call crew handles active flooding, sewage backups, and sudden mold discovery around the clock, including nights and weekends. Emergency visits include temporary containment to keep the problem from spreading while the full remediation plan is put together.
We collect air or surface samples and send them to an independent lab for species identification and spore-count analysis. Knowing the species matters because some, like Stachybotrys, call for stricter containment protocols than common surface mildew.
Some policies cover mold tied to a sudden pipe burst but exclude long-term humidity issues, so it's worth checking your specific policy language. Our detailed photo documentation and written scope of work are formatted to make the claims process as painless as possible.
A single bathroom or small closet can often be completed in a day, while larger crawl space or whole-home jobs may take three to five days. We'll give you a realistic timeline estimate after the initial inspection rather than a generic number pulled from a brochure.
Anyone with asthma or mold sensitivities may want to arrange alternate accommodations during larger jobs, and we'll advise based on scope. Pets are usually fine staying in an unaffected part of the Mount Washington home, but we'll flag any exceptions during the walkthrough.
We recommend keeping children and pets away from the containment zone until the area passes clearance testing. Once we complete post-remediation testing and the numbers come back clean, the space is safe to use normally again.
Every job addresses the moisture source, not just the visible growth, because treating symptoms without fixing the cause almost guarantees regrowth. If the same conditions caused a prior remediation to fail, we'll flag that risk clearly before starting the new job.
Call +1-844-578-1604 to ask about current inspection options for your Mount Washington address, as availability can vary by season. Even a phone consultation before scheduling can help you understand whether what you're seeing warrants a visit.
Remediation focuses on removing the active colony and correcting the moisture source so the environment no longer supports abnormal growth. What actually matters is whether your indoor levels match what's normal for outdoor air in Mount Washington, KY, and testing confirms that.
DIY treatment can also mask a problem temporarily, which sometimes delays proper remediation until the issue has spread further. Bleach also doesn't address whatever moisture condition allowed mold to grow in the first place, so the same spot often returns within weeks.
